Background

Kaniva International was founded in 2016 by I Gusti Ketut Suranata, S.H., CPHR, with early support from Ni Wayan Sus Ekawati. The establishment of this educational and training institution was driven by a noble vision — to shape Indonesia’s young generation into resilient and creative individuals in the field of hospitality management.

As the Managing Director of Kaniva International, I Gusti Ketut Suranata brings extensive experience in the tourism industry and human resource management. His professional background includes serving as Director of Kanaya Hospitality, Human Capital Manager at Avilla Hospitality, and Human Resource Manager at various hotels. His wisdom and professional expertise have shaped many of the ideas behind the development of Kaniva International as a leading educational and training institution in the field of tourism with a strong foundation in character building.

Kaniva means sharing knowledge and experiences. This reflects the founder’s belief that education should be a means of empowerment.
