Becoming a Relevant Educator in the Gen Z Era

Kaniva International once again held a Learning and Development Program with the theme. “Becoming a Relevant Educator in the Gen Z Era: Challenges, Character, and Psychological Approaches.” The program featured I Gde Jadendra Kusuma as the main speaker. In this session, edutrainers and educators gained in-depth insights into the characteristics of Generation Z, the challenges faced in the learning process, and the importance of understanding psychological aspects in order to make education more effective and meaningful.

Through an interactive and practical presentation, I Gde Jadendra Kusuma explained that Generation Z has different mindsets, communication styles, and emotional needs compared to previous generations. Therefore, educators are required to adopt approaches that are more empathetic, adaptive, and relevant to current developments. Beyond simply delivering academic content, educators must also understand how to build healthy relationships, support students’ mental well-being, and foster sustainable learning motivation.

This activity is part of Kaniva International’s commitment to improving the quality of human resources, particularly educators who play a vital role in shaping the future generation of professionals. By presenting a qualified expert in psychology and mental health, the program is expected to strengthen educators’ capacity to deliver a more human-centered, effective, and relevant learning process that aligns with the needs of students in the modern era.
